A very favorite type of red grape is called Cabernet Sauvignon. This red grape is wildly used for the production of wine all across the world. This wine is at the top of most wine list along with the wonderful Chardonnay. Chardonnay is composed from a green skinned grape species. In most regions of the world that produce wine, the Cabernet Sauvignon is widely cultivated despite the lengthy time needed for the grapes to ripen properly. The major shortcoming is the very low yield of this particular grape.

The skins of the berries of the Cabernet Sauvignon are very tough allowing a shield to prevent different diseases and protection from harsh autumn rains or wastage. It is said that this wine lacks a mild palate of richness thus making it “pulpy” in taste. There are a wide range of flavors and aromas that are associated with Cabernet Sauvignon. The aim is to collect the floral aspect when it is not totally ripe with capsicum. When it does ripen it is subject to the flavors of blackcurrant. You will find the flavors of min or eucalyptus in Chilean cabernet and California wines. It brings a nice aroma to the wine accompanied by the wonderful taste. It was characterized with black current, violets and spice smells in the old wines. The new world wines there are flavors that include ripe jam-like berries, chocolate and oaks are found in addition to these old flavors.
